Born in 1982, he is young and ambitious. He cooks with a confident dignity. He has countless culinary accomplishments at home and abroad under his belt, and has won a series of international awards, including the Gold Medal in the 2003 World Skills Competition in St. Gallen (CH) and the Silver Medal a year later at the Culinary Olympics in Erfurt (D). Now, Hannes Pignater has accepted his next challenge: creating culinary masterpieces in the unique Alpine setting of the ADLER Mountain Lodge. His style is creative and authentic at the same time, with a focus on quality produce from South Tyrol – sourced directly from committed farmers – and making as much as possible himself.
Hannes Pignater combines an interest in things new with a reliance on a culinary tradition that has shaped this mountain farmland for centuries. At lunch, enjoy the lovely vistas from the sun terrace along with light and revitalizing midday snacks or à la carte selections from South Tyrol. In the afternoon, a typical South Tyrolean platter awaits, and in the evening we will spoil you in the Panorama Restaurant with the culinary pleasures of our regional cuisine.
